We understand that open communication channels and good relationships with fishermen are very important. We will continue to foster our relationship with the fishing industry as we work toward a more sustainable energy future for Northern Ireland.
We hold frequent bi-lateral meetings with individual fishermen, fish producer organisations and processors. Fishermen can contact Gero Vella directly on 078 8405 1857 or email . A Commercial Fisheries Working Group has been established to provide a forum for information exchange and discussion. We try to ensure that this group meets bi-annually.
